A camel ride is one easy way to enjoy your tour in the desert sand.  Walking the sand dunes requires lots of physical effort and energy.  These explorations are for the most part conducted by these ethnic group guides, indigenous to North Africa called Berbers.  They know their way around and will take you back to your starting spot.  Many people dress in Berber style typical blue indigo robes.

  1. Would you know if the guides are members of the Tuareg people? I ask because the Tuareg are sometimes known as ‘the blue people’ because of their usage of this color in their clothing.
