Perched Hummingbird on a Twig, MG_6152

Hummers waist lots of energy to acquire the nectar they need to survive and replenish.  They also need to find the time to rest, and preen their feathers, while being vigilant at the same time.  One of these special moments.  This twig was part of the Bauhinia x blakeana Hong Kong orchid tree.
