Rocky Mountains Tundra-93E2000

To reach this altitude of over 11,000 feet to the Alpine Visitor Center, one needs to be prepared, for the weather is constantly changing. Two minutes after  I took this shot while driving (slowing down of course), it started raining.  Thunderstorms and lightnings are common and snow falling happens with no warning.  However despite this “small” inconveniences, the ride is amazing.
